- I am a self-taught artist. I like angels, madonnas, nativities, fairies, butterflies, and ladybugs. Of course, I love art. My inspiration comes from Frida Kahlo and antique icons. Love to mix old with new, mixed media, glitter, and vintage leaf flakes. I admired my grandfather, he used to paint, just for fun and he was always proud of his little paintings. My husband, the greatest admirer of my work and a tough critic. My daughter, she is always giving me the right prices to sell my art, and my son, always giving me new ideas and good advice. Life is good, enjoy it!

So wonderful, Flor! I love your works! I never asked you before - so you use oil or acrylics? Your crackle parts always look so beautiful. I tried out to add some crackle the first time and used something on water basic - painting a background color, let it try, used the crackle polish and let it dry again - and then covered it with the main color. But the crackle effect didn´t turn out so filigree like in your paintings. It´s hard to find any good products here in germany. I have seen different for oil, but only one for acrylics.
