WHAT DO YOU THINK?

SOLD :) This painting was a hard one for me...first I had problems with the combination of colors, then with her face...and finally with the clouds...but after all I think it came out cute! Don't you think? I do not know what was wrong with me yesterday...I was so frustrated at night that I end up crying...but today I saw things different and managed to finish...
I will list it for auction soon! In the meantime you can visit my ETSY SHOP or my EBAY AUCTIONS. Thanks!

I think she turned out great! I love the clouds, stars and the crackle finish. She has a sweet face and the dog is adorable! I worked on an angel today that gave me the same sort of trouble. I posted her, but am not sure she's finished yet... :) Silke

I love it Flor! It is very cute! It is funny how sometimes you just have to walk away from a painting even when that is the hardest thing to do. It always helps though. I tell that to my 6 year old son too if he is trying to do something and he is getting frustrated. Now, he comes to me and tells me the same thing if he hears me complaining about a painting. I try to take his advice every time . :)

I think it is beautiful! The colors are really nice. Sometimes I feel like I can't stop a painting until I am done, I get so involved, and then it will be midnight and I have to go to work in the morning! It is best to step back and give it time if you need another perspective though... I should do that more often, I think. I love your work, Flor.

Hi, Flor! I think that we all feel that way from time to time, especially when we try new color combinations or stretch ourselves in other artistic ways. I felt that way about a card I made a couple of weeks ago, but after I slept on it a couple of nights, I actually like it now. It had to grow on me. That's all! :-)

Your painting is beautiful AND meaningful, Flor. I'd love to think that our beloved pets (dog, cats, birds, etc.) can be with us for eternity since their time on earth is far too short.

And, your tears were not shed in vain, it's good to release pent up frustration. And, have you noticed how good you look a bit after your crying jag? It's better than botox:)

I really like the colours, and think it was worth your frustration. Sometimes tears can be just the missing ingredient in a successful painting!

She really is beautiful, and if you had included the wording and pic for a cat, I might even have been tempted to buy it! I adore the Virgin of Guadalupe, you've captured her serenity beautiful, and the colours are amazing.

This is WONDERFUL! I just LOVE the way you use color. Your colors are so soft and beautiful. I love the cloud back round and I think the angel is great. AND there is a wonderful spiritual quality that pulls at my heartstrings. hugs, Amy

Es bellisima!!! Me encanta!!!
Es verdad que a veces, no se sabe por que, si por el estado de ánimo o el cansancio ... no conectamos bien con la pintura, todo lo que hacemos no nos acaba de gustar, por eso es mejor dejarlo para otro momento de más inspiración.

I so often feel the same about a painting and get really annoyed and frustrated with it and I agree taking a step back can really help although it can very hard to do. Other times things just seem to flow much more easily but some of my favorite paintings of mine were the really frustrating ones that I almost gave up on altogether!!!

We're women Flor and we all feel so much; so much of the time.

She is beautiful and I especially love her face and that she is up in the stars.

You are an amazing woman.
